The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Bournemouth University is looking to appoint a new External Examiner to our BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing and PG Dip Adult Nursing programmes.
The post holder will join a team of two other external examiners who are currently in post and the assessment workload is shared between the external examiner team. The programmes have two intakes per year with examination boards in Spring and Summer. As well as attendance at boards there is an expectation that externals will have an annual visit to meet students, practice partners and mentors.
The term of office will be for four academic years commencing with effect from September 2017 and applications are invited from academic staff, who have registered teacher and registered nurses status with the NMC and are involved in delivery of similar programmes at their institution.
Details of both the BSc (Hons) and PG Dip Adult Nursing programmes can be found at the Department of Nursing and Clinical Sciences web page https://www1.bournemouth.ac.uk/about/our-faculties/faculty-health-social-sciences/our-departments/department-nursing-clinical-sciences
