The Professional Development Centre at the University of Lincoln are seeking to appoint an experienced External Examiner to cover our Advanced Clinical Practice provision.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and the two specialist pathways Urgent and Primary. This will also involve assisting with a 30 credit module called ‘A Comprehensive Approach to History Taking and Physical Assessment’ which is currently part of the LBR provision.

This role will be shared with an existing External Examiner due to the increase in demand for the programme and rising number of students.

  • Enhanced Practice in Acute Mental Health Care
  • Older Adult Mental Health
  • Proactive Management of Long Term Conditions

Stage 3

  • Service Evaluation for Clinical Practice
  • Service Transformation Project

Ideal applicants should possess the following:

  • A Masters level qualification or above
  • Relevant experience in this professional area (Advanced Clinical Practice / Health and Social Care/ History Taking)
