Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for AHP’s and Independent Prescribing Conversion course for AHP’s at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes University is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for its Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) and the Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for AHP’s course at level 6 and level 7 and the Independent for Non-Medical Prescribing (V300), Prescribing Conversion course for AHP’s at level 7.
Applicants should hold an appropriate registration with the NMC or HCPC and have experience of internal (and preferably external) marking and moderation of work to Masters level. The appointment will be for four years starting September 2017.
The post holder would be required to provide external moderation of assessment, complete an annual monitoring report and attend the relevant examination boards. External Examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications to modules and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
Full course details and documentation will be provided to the appointee and an induction day will be offered – to be held at the University following appointment. Whilst previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable, consideration would be given to those seeking their first appointment.
