The Faculty of Health and Social Care is the largest faculty in London South Bank University, with a long standing reputation for excellence in the education, research and practice development of a variety of health and social care specialists. The Faculty is seeking to appoint a number of replacement External Examiners to a variety of well-established pre-registration programmes in

Programmes have been designed to be flexible and span all levels of study from vocational to postgraduate activities, and include work-based learning, e-based learning, taught and distance learning, some of which are being delivered internationally.
The University operates a two-tier examination board system, with External examiners being initially appointed to a Subject Area Board where they will oversee a number of academic modules. More experienced External Examiners may subsequently be appointed to an Award and Progression Examination Board. The examination boards meet three times a year and there is an expectation that the External Examiner will attend at least one Examination Board and submit an annual report to the University.
