We are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the MSc ‘Advanced Clinical Practice’, MSc ‘Advanced Nursing Practice’, and PG Cert ‘Minor injury and illness management’ programmes within the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Oxford Brookes University.

The award profile includes the following level 7 modules:
• Assessing and Managing Minor Injuries and Illnesses
• Advanced history taking and assessment
• Diagnostic Reasoning in Practice
• Advancing Professional Practice
• Dimensions in Advanced Nursing Practice
• Applied Research Methods
• Dissertation in Advanced Practice

The successful applicant would be appointed to start in January 2019 for a term of four years. External Examiners are requested to attend relevant Post Graduate Exam Boards and to complete an annual report. External Examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications to modules and the development of new modules, within their area of expertise.
