The School of Nursing and School of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences at Ulster University are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education for Healthcare Professionals. This new interprofessional PGCert addresses the educative function of all healthcare professionals in the context of their current practice.
The successful applicant should be an academic member of staff who has:
- A background in healthcare
- Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy
- Experience of providing a healthcare based education programme
The successful applicant will be expected to consult/provide advice on all aspects of the development, delivery and assessment of the PGCert, attend one board of examiners in the academic year, (normally early June), and provide a written report.
