Members for the revalidation of the following programmes:
• BNurs (Hons) Adult Nursing
• BNurs (Hons) Children’s Nursing
• BNurs (Hons) Learning Disabilities Nursing
• BNurs (Hons) Mental Health Nursing
• MNurs (Hons) Adult Nursing
• Masters in Adult Nursing
• Masters in Mental Health
We will be seeking University and NMC approval for both standard 3-year degree and Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (RNDA) 3/4-year versions of each programme
As a minimum, External Team Member nominees should have:
• A thorough knowledge of the subject area;
• An understanding of recent developments in the subject discipline;
• Familiarity with the expectations of potential employers in the subject area
In order to participate in the validation of a Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (RNDA) programme, External Team Member nominees should also have:
• Experience of developing and delivering apprenticeship provision;
• Knowledge of relevant Educational Skills Funding Agency for funding and compliance rules relating to apprenticeships
To preserve integrity of the process, External Advisors nominees should not:
• Be a current External Examiner for the University;
• Have been employed within the previous five years at the University (including as an External Examiner);
• Be currently employed at any of the University’s Associate Partners
