The University of Central Lancashire requires an External Adviser for a new MSc/BSc (Hons) Nursing in General Practice (Top-up).
These awards include a range of modules that students can choose. It is aimed at qualified nurses with a community interest.
The role of the External Adviser will be to confirm that standards have been set at the appropriate levels and the course structure, content and available resources are such that these standards can be met. This will be done through your involvement throughout the course approval process.
Course approval is led by a University panel. The quality of the learning opportunities which students experience in an academic school or faculty and the standard of the awards that they take away are central to the course approval process. The aim of this process is to embed University procedures at Faculty level and to ensure the alignment of University standards with the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. You would be asked to review documentation and attend the course approval event (date to be confirmed).
A fee of £100 will be payable along with travel expenses and accommodation (if necessary).
Interested parties should email their CV to email@example.com by the 18th September 2017.
