The School of Health are currently developing a new online programme, MSc Safeguarding in an International Context, which will have an international student body. We are looking to appoint an External Advisor for the Course Approval Event and/or future External Examiner duties.
The External Adviser role will consist of reviewing documentation and submitting a short report highlighting areas for further discussion/issues/good practice and attending the Course Approval event scheduled for 12th May 2014.
Following confirmation of approval this elearn course will commence January 2015. The External Examiner post will require external moderation of assessments, attendance at course boards and completion of an annual report. Access will be available to the elearn resources and online assignments. The course will constitute modules in Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Human Trafficking and a variety of options, including modules from Law, Psychology and Police.
