The Faculty of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Central Lancashire is a large and multidisciplinary faculty, offering a broad range of programmes in the health and social care field.
We are seeking to appoint an External Advisor to review the new MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and attend the validation event on the 17 May 2018, and an External Examiner. These two roles can be split or given to one person. External Examiners are required to review and evaluate assessment marking and to attend a minimum of one examination board per year.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. The successful applicant must be CBT trained and knowledgeable about the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) requirements for accreditation. All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of External Examiners. The successful applicant for the external examiner role will be appointed with effect from 1 October 2018 for a term of four academic years.
