University of the West of England, Bristol, Department of Nursing and Midwifery, is seeking to appoint two External Academic Advisors for the new Undergraduate Nursing Programme at Levels 6 (3) and Post graduate Level 7 (M) created to meet the new NMC standards

The BSc and MSc Nursing courses have been redesigned to meet the New NMC standards. We are looking for an advisor re review the content of the proposed new courses.
The programme for undergraduate is a three year programme including 8 theory modules and 6 practice modules for review.
The Masters level programme is a two year post graduate course.
Applications will be accepted from individuals new to the Advisory role with relevant professional experience in nursing undergraduate education.

Current NMC registration in nursing fields
For applications to review the MSc programme the advisor will require to hold and MSc
All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of external advisors including Right to Work checks, whereby original documentation must be sent to us and verified via a short video link, by 21 December 2018.
Timelines
Information to be released to external advisors by 7 January 2019 for feedback to be received by 21st January.
