The School of Health and Society is involved in the preparation of health and social care professionals, and those wishing to work in the social science disciplines. One of the major strengths of the School is its close relationships with partner organisations resulting in very dynamic, responsive and innovative approach to programme development, service improvement and research that impact on real world issues.

We are looking to appoint an external examiner for a 4 year period to start immediately for the following routes in our MSc Nursing Practice together with a small number of number of single CPD modules.

MSc / PGCert Nursing Practice: Gastro-Intestinal Disorders

MSc / PGCert Nursing Practice: Tissue Viability

MSc/ PGCert Nursing Practice: (Neuroscience)

As an External Examiner you will have responsibility for the external moderation of theoretical assessments as well as supporting the relevant module teams with their planned assessment strategy. You would be expected to attend module and programme boards and complete an External Examiner Annual Monitoring Report.
