We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nurse Education to manage our sizeable and highly valued contracts for pre and post registration Nursing provision. With an intake of over 200 students per annum, for Adult and Mental Health fields, and a substantial Learning Beyond Registration undertaking, the portfolio of Nursing programme sits within the School of Health and Social Care and prides itself on its public and community health focus, its commitment to interprofessional learning with Social Work and Social Care and its research informed teaching and learning.
The Director will lead and manage a growing team of Nursing academics and professional support staff and will be a member of the School of Health and Social Care Leadership Group.
The College of Social Science consists of six Schools (Psychology, Health and Social Care, Business, Law, Social and Political Sciences, and Sport and Exercise Science) and the Centre for Educational Research and Development (CERD). The successful candidate will be an experienced, professional nurse who has an established record of high quality educational leadership and who will take forward its Nursing provision in partnership with local and regional health providers.
