We are now seeking to appoint a visionary, dynamic and ambitious Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences. As senior adviser to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Faculty, Dr Marc Griffiths, this is an exciting and substantial senior leadership role. The successful candidate will play an important role in continuing the transformation of the Faculty, delivering the strategic plan and driving a culture of excellence and providing strategic support for the Faculty in terms of learning, teaching, research and external engagement.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategic overview of the Faculty’s business development, estates and infrastructure, Health and Safety, finance and HR resources, and internal and external planning. We are looking for an experienced senior manager with proven leadership skills and a strong track record of academic and professional achievement. You will be an individual who exhibits a strong work ethic, inspires others and is motivated to create sustainable change. Engaged in research and connected with industry, you will be able to demonstrate effective performance and resource management skills combined for all disciplines represented across the Faculty is vital, promoting the delivery of high quality teaching, research and external partnerships.
