The University of Northampton is looking to recruit a Dean for the Faculty of Health and Society. This new post will provide strong academic leadership for one of the four Faculties which constitute the University. Working both within the Faculty and across the institution the Dean will contribute to the strategic direction of the University and lead by example the University’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research and social innovation.

The Faculty of Health and Society offers a range of programmes, many of which are professionally regulated and the post holder must hold current professional registration. The Dean will be required to maintain an effective external profile and promote the University through links to external partnerships, nationally and internationally, securing excellent relationships with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies.
