The School of Nursing and Health Sciences, with around 1,200 undergraduate students, 300 postgraduate students and around 80 staff, provides education and research across a wide spectrum of health related topics including health sciences, mental health, applied epidemiology, health services research and health technology assessment. In the latest REF, 85 per cent of the School’s research was judged to be internationally excellent or world leading, with strengths across maternal and child health, working with vulnerable groups and long-term conditions and disability. The University of Dundee are now seeking to appoint a new Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences to lead a highly committed and engaged faculty and to continue with the School’s vision to influence improvement in health outcomes through education and research. Reporting to the Vice-Principal (Academic Planning & Performance), the Dean will be a vibrant and innovative leader who will further build the School’s growing international reputation. They will be an inclusive leader able to develop a diverse community of staff and students and maximise their achievements. Salary will be commensurate on experience.
