The School of Nursing and Midwifery is one of four schools in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and we are looking to appoint a visionary leader to provide strategic leadership and oversee the management of the school to achieve our mission. The successful candidate, together with other Heads in the faculty will also provide support to the PVC/Dean in ensuring that the faculty is a successful and inclusive learning and research environment in which staff and students will thrive.
A higher degree, registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, significant senior management experience gained in the higher education sector which encompasses strategic leadership, staff and budget management are all essential requirements for the role. The ability to deliver strategic plans, drive change and create an inclusive, communicative and performance focused management culture with credibility is also essential.
