This post represents an exciting opportunity to join the team at the University of Salford, contributing to the training of Podiatrists. The teaching facilities include a large, modern on-site clinic, where students apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting, supervised by a team of academics.
As a Clinical Tutor you will be key in delivering clinical teaching in our clinics, where students and staff offer a wide range of podiatric care. Whilst the focus is on teaching our students, we also provide high quality care for our patients and this role will be integral in ensuring this, as well as providing continuity of care throughout the year. You will be joining the School of Health & Society, which provides education at undergraduate, postgraduate and post-qualifying levels, and offers diverse educational programmes across a large range of health professions as well as sports programmes, social sciences and psychology. The Podiatry programme sits within the Directorate of Allied and Public Health. The Directorate has a dynamic team of academic staff offering high quality educational programmes, and is one of the largest providers of professional training for the Allied Health Professions in the UK.
