The Department of Midwifery, Child and Community Nursing in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education is the largest provider of health and social care education in the East of England. It offers a range of qualifying and post-qualifying/pre-registration and post-registration courses in health and social work. We are an ambitious Faculty offering our students high quality, research informed, transformative education.

We are seeking a committed practitioner to enhance the clinical skills teaching and provide practice support within our established Specialist Community Public Health Nursing course (Health Visiting) and other community pathways across the Essex area. You will be part of a dedicated team working to support enhance practice education. Your clinical expertise will support our portfolio of education for community professionals and will assist us in developing our research and scholarly activity profile.

With a degree and professional registered qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing you will have experience of teaching successfully at Higher Education level. You will be expected to engage in research and scholarly activity in pedagogy and/or your specialist field.
