The role of the Lecturer will be to carry out teaching and research whilst undergoing a combined academic and clinical training leading towards a career in their respective speciality. Candidates should have a proven commitment to research and teaching. The person appointed will be allocated an Academic National Training Number (NTNa). Clinical training will be provided within a range of placements approved for Specialty Training in preparation for the award of the Certificate of Completed Training (CCT). Candidates must be fully registered medical practitioners with appropriate relevant professional exam. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a maximum period of four years, or until the award of a CCT.
Salary for this post will be within the range £31,301 – £54,199 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidates will undertake 50% of WTE academic work within the relevant academic speciality.
