We are seeking an experienced researcher for this exciting and innovative clinical academic role. The role is jointly funded by the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Dundee, and the Allied Health Professions (AHP) Directorate within NHS Tayside. The purpose of the role is a) to provide leadership to AHPs in NHS Tayside for the development of research capacity and capability across the Allied Health Professions b) to support the development of a programme of implementation research that focuses on the generation and translation of evidence into Allied Health Professions (AHP) practice, to improve health outcomes relevant to populations served by these professions.
The post-holder should hold a PhD in a relevant health or social science discipline, and a track record of research relevant to AHP practice would be desirable. Experience in supervising post-graduate students would also be an advantage. Although the post will be based in the University of Dundee, ability to travel regularly to NHS sites in Dundee and beyond will be important.
