The BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing is a 3 year modular programme offered by City, University of London. The programme is designed to incrementally provide student with the underpinning theory which can be amended and adapted to the practice setting where adults with physical health needs can be supported. The programme encourages the student to be versatile, resilient and adaptable to a variety of new and challenging situations both in the classroom and practice settings so that they achieve the NMC proficiencies enabling nomination to the NMC for registration.
The course emphasises the development of clinical and communication skills and ethics alongside knowledge in the principles and application of biology, physiology and pathology. The course is modular in design and requires the student to be successful in each module assessment.
