The Associate Professor of Nursing is a key position within the University that will provide an opportunity for the right person to contribute to the development, growth and success of the undergraduate nursing education provision.

You will support the establishment of a an undergraduate pre-registration dual-registration (child and mental health/adult and mental health Nursing with leadership programme as part of the new School of Allied Health Professionals, launching in 2018.

Working with local NHS Trusts, the University is looking to advance new curricula in Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy, to complement the existing Operating Department Practitioner undergraduate programme.

In this role you will undertake curriculum development, programme leadership, teaching, scholarship and other activities to enhance the work of the School of Allied Health Professions and the College of Life Sciences. You will be expected to contribute to engagement and/or enterprise activities in support of your own work and that of the School of Allied Health Professions within the College of Life Sciences. You will play an active role within the School of Allied Health Professions and contribute to its wider running, offering leadership to both colleagues and students.
