Associate Professor in Health Sciences (Clinical Endoscopy)
£51,034 to £59,135 per annum, pro rata

At an exciting time of development, we are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6fte) Associate Professor in Health Sciences (Clinical Endoscopy) to join our dedicated, interdisciplinary academic team, for a fixed term period of 1 year. This is a fantastic secondment opportunity for healthcare professionals experienced in clinical endoscopy to extend their advanced practice portfolio and is equivalent to the top of NHS Pay Band 8a.
The School of Health Sciences’ mission is to be a leader in health care innovation and education, addressing global healthcare challenges – and equipping others to do the same. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual with a professional background and expertise in clinical endoscopy and a proven academic track record.
This is an opportunity to develop, deliver and evaluate a new clinical endoscopy module. You will have a good first degree (2:1 or above) and a higher degree in a health-related discipline as well as holding a healthcare related professional registration.
The successful applicant will have a commitment to inter-professional education and to working collaboratively with a range of professions and organisations to support the School’s strategic goals.
