The Professional Development Centre at the University of Lincoln is looking to appoint a number of associate lecturers to teach on its growing portfolio of post registration, post qualification and professional development programmes We currently offer a wide portfolio ranging from stand alone short courses at Undergraduate level to 3 year Masters level qualifications. Please note hours are not guaranteed however we do anticipate some requirements from early 2018.
Applicants with experience / qualifications in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

- Tissue Viability
- Mental Health (Older Adult/Dementia)
- Long Term Conditions
- Advanced Clinical Practice
- Adult Critical Care
- Emergency and Pre Hospital Care
- Leadership and Management in Public and Third Sector Organisations
- Psychological Therapies
- Child Protection and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
Associate lecturer posts are often sought by professionals in practice who wish to gain entry into university teaching in their area of expertise.

£42.18 per hour (Comprehensive Teaching Rate – This rate assumes that for each contact teaching hour, a further 1.5 hours is carried out for the preparation, marking and assessment etc. associated with that teaching.)
£16.87 per hour (Basic Hourly Rate – This rate for meetings, additional marking and any other work not requiring preparation.)
