Buckinghamshire New University are seeking an Associate Head of School, to expand our leadership team in the School of Nursing and Allied Health, in the delivery of the School’s strategic business plan and key performance indicators in line with the University’s strategy.

You will play a key role within the School of Nursing and Allied Health and lead a team of Academics as part of the School’s leadership team. You will work closely with the Head of School and other colleagues to play a key role in ensuring the School delivers an outstanding student experience, educational excellence and an effective curriculum and education portfolio. With the Head of School, you will be responsible for ensuring that the School delivers the required strategic priorities and key performance indicators as set out in the University’s strategy.

Reporting to the Head of School, you will actively contribute to the strategic direction of the School and the University, with a strong emphasis on operational delivery. You will assume School-wide responsibility for either the education or research and enterprise portfolios. You will be an effective team player, able to engage with students and staff, to secure engagement and support for the School’s objectives and priorities. You will have experience of leading a team in the Health and Social Care setting.
