The School of Health & Life Sciences has a long established record of delivering high quality learning, teaching and research in the fields of health, sport and science. We have an excellent reputation for working with our partners which include the NHS, voluntary and private businesses. A large numbers of our courses are accredited with the relevant professional and statutory bodies. Our high quality clinical, sport and scientific classrooms and laboratories will help prepare our students for their clinical practice experience or graduate employment.

As a member of the School Executive Team, you will undertake a key role in supporting and advising the Dean in the delivery of the University’s Mission Statement, Corporate Strategy and Institutional policies and procedures. You will have specific responsibility for the strategic vision, setting of goals and ensuring the achievements of Key Performance Indicators across the Marketing and Recruitment Portfolio.

With a Higher Degree in a relevant discipline, you will be expected to maintain your academic standing and authority through teaching, research and scholarly activities.

You will have significant experience in a senior academic role showing effective leadership of diverse groups of academic and professional staff and have experience of developing successful collaborative links nationally. You must be able to travel and represent the School and University as required.

Extensive knowledge of the UK Higher Education environment and current issues is also essential.
