The School of Health Sciences has a broad portfolio of health related programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level covering life sciences, psychology, allied health professions, social sciences and applied public health. The majority of programmes are professionally accredited and have regulatory body approval where required. We attract students from across the globe and have established transnational education provision with partner institutions in Greece, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong. The School has an internationally excellent research profile with vibrant research groups in Biomedical Science and Psychology; strong industry focussed research in Food Science and Technology and Applied Public Health and a developing research portfolio in the allied health professions. The school has over 60 PhD students including many international students studying in Cardiff and abroad. We work with partners in the UK and internationally to deliver innovative enterprise and development projects.
