The Health e-Learning and Media group within the School of Health Sciences comprises academics and learning technologists and has an international reputation for elearning development and research in health care education and practice. We are seeking to appoint an assistant professor/lecturer to join this team. The role will be based within the school’s Health e-learning and Media (HELM) Group and will contribute to the academic activities of the group.
The purpose of this role will be to contribute to teaching programmes within the school and, teaching innovation and research in e-learning/digital health education. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing, midwifery and physiotherapy and we welcome applicants with a clinical specialism. The post holder will be expected to develop and win support for innovative research and/or teaching development proposals and funding bids. An element of the role will involve advising and contributing to staff development, mentorship and coaching in online pedagogy and use of technology in education and healthcare interventions.

Salary £34233 to £45954 per annum depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
