Coventry University has seen huge global successes in recent years and provides high quality education to our students. The University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2018), we were awarded Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (2017) and have been named as University of the Year for Student Experience (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019).
As the largest School in the University the School of Nursing Midwifery and Health offers a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. Due to our continued success and growth we are looking to develop a Diagnostic Radiography BSc and apprenticeship route.
We therefore require a senior level academic to develop this provision and progress the rigorous quality approval process with the Health and Care Professions Council. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to take up a full time position as an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) / Associate Professor (Principle Lecturer) – 2 years fixed term initially. Applicants will need to be a registered Radiographer with previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution.
The University offers academic and professional development and you will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
