The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy,Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels.Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2018) and has also just been named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience’ (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019). The School has achieved 97% overall for student satisfaction for adult nursing (NSS 2018).

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to take up a full time position as an Assistant Lecturer/ Lecturer Nursing for the Nursing Associate foundation degree course (3 permanent positions).  Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is highly desirable and your application should detail your area of clinical/teaching experience and expertise. Applications are welcome from nurses with experience of working in Mental Health, Learning Disability and Children and Young People’s nursing. As the learners are apprentices you will be expected to support and liaise with their mentor and clinical placement area staff.

The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
