As the largest School in the University we have a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing (all four fields), Nursing Associates, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. Due to our continued success and growth the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is looking to appoint a registered nurse who will be able to support the team in the delivery of our nursing courses.

The individual will work within an established team of academics and need to have a good understanding of current priorities for the nursing agenda. Previous experience of teaching HEI based educational programmes would be desirable and an ability to teach a range of clinical skills basic to advanced is essential including manual handling, BLS, Peads BLS is also desirable. The post is at the level of assistant lecturer and is a full time, permanent position. Applicants will need to hold current NMC registration. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.

The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
