The Faculty of Health Sciences is a new and dynamic Faculty at the University of Hull. The education and research profile encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health, Social Work, Biomedical Science, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Sports Health and Exercise Science. The University was awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework.

The Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology is a well-established course, with a national reputation for innovative practice. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual, who is committed to clinical psychology training. The post-holder will work within the academic section of the training programme, ensuring the academic curriculum reflects contemporary psychological knowledge and practice and the learning and teaching provision is of a high quality. Contributing to the teaching and research supervision of postgraduate clinical psychology trainees, you will also perform related administrative work as and when required.

We invite applications from qualified clinical psychologists; we are particularly keen to encourage candidates with additional qualifications in systemic family therapy or neuropsychology to apply for the post. As a Clinical Psychologist, the post holder will be registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council.

The salary is on the Agenda for Change scales, band 8a/8b according to experience. The post is 0.4 FTE hours, so it is expected that the post holder will work 2 days a week at the University.
