The Faculty of Health Sciences at Staffordshire University is a vibrant and forward thinking Faculty, with a reputation for excellence in professional education both at undergraduate and post graduate level. In such a dynamic environment we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can lead and manage a range of practice learning across the whole faculty and in so doing raise Staffordshire University’s profile locally and nationally in respect of practice learning provision.
You must hold professional registration in one of the professional areas covered within the Faculty of Health Sciences and have a sound working knowledge of the NHS. You must be an experienced academic with an in depth knowledge of quality and professional regulatory processes related to both practice learning provision and inter-professional education. As this is a cross faculty role, you should also have wide range of experience of working strategically and in collaborative way with others.
You will hold a higher degree in a related subject. It is desirable that you have or are working towards a Doctorate level qualification.
You will act as an ambassador for Staffordshire University effectively liaising and working with established, and new partner organisations, to ensure that the provision of practice learning opportunities leads the way and meets current and future workforce plans.
