Clinical Academic Roles Implementation Network
The Healthcare Professionals Clinical Academic Roles and Career Pathways Implementation Network (CARIN) was established to advise, support and share innovation and best practice of activity that promotes, engages and evaluates the development and implementation of joint clinical academic roles for healthcare professionals (excluding doctors and dentists).

They meet four times a year to share related innovations and developments as well as contribute to the organisation based annual data collection survey.
CARIN is currently chaired by Professor Jane Coad, Professor in Children and Family Nursing and Director for Clinical Academic Researchers at Nottingham University, and Professor in Nursing at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
