Governance

The Council of Deans of Health is a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 29 November
2019 and registered as a charity on 5 December 2019 in England and Wales and on 25 February
2020 in Scotland. The company was established under a memorandum of association which established the objects and powers of the charitable company and is governed under its Articles of Association.

The Council’s governance is provided by a Board of Trustees comprising up to six Elected Trustees drawn from the Council’s membership, six Appointed Trustees and a Chair.

The Board is supported by the Nominations and Remuneration Committee.
