Closing Innovation Month 2025

28 February 2025

by Ed Hughes, CEO and Josie Turner, Policy Officer

The Council of Deans of Health has delivered an interesting and engaging Innovation Month for its members, and we’d like to offer our personal thanks to everyone who enriched the conversation with their thoughts, ambitions, projects and challenges.

The month was preceded by January’s very well-received Digital Summit, which provided an excellent opportunity for in-person networking while we heard from senior professional and industry leaders at the cutting edge of digital innovation in healthcare delivery and education.

We hosted a stimulating webinar conversation about the opportunities for delivering Sustainable Healthcare Education; a podcast reflecting on Innovations Across the Devolved Nations; and blogposts from students and clinical academic leaders on the use, limits and potential of generative AI. Consensus has emerged around both collaboration and critical thinking when harnessing the potential of digital innovation.

We encourage members to find all these resources on the Council’s website, and I very much look forward to welcoming you to our programme of events for March’s Research Month.

All our Innovation Month 2025 resources are available to all on this page
