The Council of Deans of Health has released a briefing on the perspectives of allied health educators regarding the delivery of public health content within pre-registration curricula at UK health education providers. This briefing compiles feedback from educators, gathered through a survey and focus group, and highlights key themes to assess the level of public health provision over the past five years. It also outlines what is needed to ensure public health is thoroughly integrated into healthcare education, training, and practice.
We are grateful to Linda Hindle, Deputy Allied Health Professions Officer for England, and the Department of Health and Social Care Office for Health Improvement and Disparities for their support with this work.
