The Council would like to congratulate all those included in the King’s Birthday Honours list 2024 and in particular those who have been recognised for their contributions to healthcare and education. We have compiled a list of some of those recipients most relevant to our sector.
The Council is particularly delighted to see former Chair, Professor Brian Webster-Henderson, and our Northern Ireland Convenor, Professor Donna Fitzsimons, both receive OBE’s for their services to healthcare and education.

We are also delighted to see recognition for our valued member Professor Donna Fitzsimons, Head, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queen’s University Belfast.’
