The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health within the Faculty is seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer to support a small but growing team of academics to deliver education and research in the field of Independent and Supplementary Prescribing. For the past ten years, the University has been at the forefront in developing and delivering accredited and non-accredited and validated education in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing, thus contributing to national workforce development. We use a range of teaching approaches to deliver our programmes such as face to face delivery in the classroom and online learning, sometimes a blend of both.
The applicant must be a registered Pharmacist with a prescribing qualification. Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based educational programmes would be advantageous.
The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. The job description and person specification for the post (Ref REQ004793) are available to view on the Coventry University website at: https://staffrecruitment.coventry.ac.uk.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Informal enquiries should be addressed to Alison Bardsley (Senior Lecturer) 02477 655880.
Interviews will be held on 13 March 2017.
