The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare provides high quality nursing, midwifery and healthcare programmes in partnership with our local healthcare providers.
The College offers pre-registration, post-registration and Professional Development courses, at Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Level. With approximately 1000 students and 100 staff, the College is a varied, welcoming and friendly place to work and students are based in both West London and Berkshire.
The post holder will take on module leadership and act as a personal tutor to adult nursing students undertaking the BSc Adult Nursing course and later will be a cohort leader. Working closely with the wider course team for adult nursing, the post holder will provide teaching and support to students undertaking modules and/or courses at the College and to students/mentors in clinical environments. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual with experience in higher education.
As a member of the academic team, the post holder will assist in the development of the professional, academic, research and scholarly profile of Adult nursing within the College.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge of adult nursing, contemporary health care and policy. This individual will demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills in order to work collaboratively with students, other academics and with support and technical staff. They will be expected to develop and deliver learning material that is relevant, evidence-based and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with CNMH.
