The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the Specialist Community Nursing (SCN) District Nursing and Practice Nursing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and for new CPD modules for Practice Nurses. The post will commence in September 2017 for a period of 4 years, and is subject to approval by the University.
The programme recruits district and practice nurses from across the West Midlands region. The SCN course is very well established and sits within the Specialist Practice awards alongside health visiting and school nursing.

Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified academics with experience of the delivery and assessment of similar programmes, and current NMC registration is essential.Previous experience as an External Examiner would be beneficial.
