The School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education: Anglia Ruskin University are seeking a new External Examiner to support a range of our pre-registration child field nursing modules. The external examiner will be required to monitor the quality of course work across a range of modules at levels 4, 5, 6 and 7.
The successful applicant will be required to contribute to our assessment panels, meet with students and visit practice areas during the tenure, in order to provide feedback for our quality monitoring processes. We are seeking candidates whose area of expertise would enable him / her to monitor the quality of the modules and externally moderate assessed work.
External examiners are required to attend at least one assessment panel per year and complete an annual report. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and developments in new modules within their area of expertise. We will provide training and support for the post.

- The current employing HEI has a minimum of 5 FTE category A submissions in the current REF with 50% of activity being recorded as greater than 2*
