We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy. This newly validated and updated programme at the University of Southampton, with its bespoke skills rooms and ADL suite provides our students with a high quality learning experience.
Students follow a spiral learning approach and are provided with opportunities to develop a critical approach to their learning and clinical practice. There is a strong emphasis on inter professional learning, evidence based learning and reflective practice.
Assessments are varied in their structure and include written assignments, examinations, conference style posters and abstracts, professional conversations and grading –in – practice
The post available will be effective from 1st October 2019.
Applicants should hold appropriate academic qualifications; preferably have previous experience of acting in the role as an External Examiner and have a registered qualification in non-medical prescribing.
